#1 How much for a puppy?
STANDARD RATES:
Companion: $2,000
Full Registration: Variable
Deposit: $500
Ear Cropping: +$300
*Special waitlist considerations can be made for working homes. These include and are not limited to service dogs, hunting dogs, trained estate guardians, and sport dogs.
#2 Do you allow visits?
We gladly accept visitors before puppies are born and when litters are between the ages of 5 and 6 weeks old. For biosecurity purposes, we ask that you confirm the following before scheduling your visit:

No interaction with other puppies/litters for 7 days prior to your visit

You have not been to any veterinary hospitals, shelters, dog parks, pet stores or ANY locations with frequent dog traffic for 3 days prior to your visit

You agree to clean your hands and cover your feet before interacting with puppies or passing through the areas in which they are kept (we provide hand sanitizer, water, and disposable shoe covers)
#3 What will my puppy come home with?
We send our puppies home with a gift box, AKC and/or ICCF registration, vaccinations on record, Health Certificate, and LIFELONG breeder support.
*All of our breeding Cane Corso are Dual Registered AKC/ICCF*
#4 What do you breed for?
The Complete Package.
The Cane Corso is historically a multi-purpose breed. Health, structure, temperament, and overall working ability are EQUALLY important. GIC's assessment and training protocol is designed to produce balanced dogs.
We breed away from extremes of every form. Respectfully, if excessive size or aimless aggression are what you are after, we are not the breeder for you.
#5 Do you have any
black males?
We own and have produced dogs of every coloration accepted by the breed standard. What we DON'T do is prioritize the shade of a dog's coat over the strength of their character.
#6 When can I take them home?
Puppies go to their new homes NO EARLIER than 8 weeks of age.
After placing your deposit, you may wait to pick your puppies at 10 weeks if you so choose.
*There are occasional circumstances wherein puppies will be held back for up to 10 weeks by default.
#7 What do you "do" with your dogs?
We believe the greatest enrichment a dog can know is living up to their purpose. After setting the foundation with basic obedience, we train and exercise our dogs in protection-adjacent work, pole work, agility, and weight pulling.
**DISCLAIMER: Goals in Canines does not identify as a "Personal Protection Trainer," nor do we offer such services. We assess our breeding prospects with field trials that draw out the natural instinct of guardian breeds. Every dog in our program is taught discernment, manners, and is proven through simulated scenarios.**
#8 Regarding Registration...
We DO NOT sell dogs with "no papers." Every litter we produce is registered with AKC with ICCF slips provided by default.
We ONLY provide Full Registration to select owners.
We DO NOT provide stud services to the general public.
#9 DO I HAVE TO Do (BLANK) With my Puppy?
We're no "puppy mill," but we are not elitists, either. Owners will not be judged by their appearance or affiliations-- only by their character and preparedness to do right by their animals.
We value the health and happiness of every puppy, and our interview process reflects this. Thusly, if your choices do not violate the puppy contract, we have nothing to say about how you, the owner, choose to raise YOUR puppy.
We place zero stipulations on nutrition, spaying/neutering, competition, or training. If your application is approved and you are trusted to raise a GIC puppy, the only advice you will receive from then on is advice you ask for.
